Challenge your architect to create something meaningful for you!

The next time your architect suggests using a piece of broken concrete pulled from a pile of rubble, from the recently demolished section of local highway, hear ‘em out! Wascha Studios worked with the local concrete fabricator, Modrock, to acquire a chunk of the Seattle Viaduct and turn the top half of it into a polished concrete bathroom sink. The edges are left raw and the base is blackened steel resembling some of the steel rebar found in other pieces. Create something unique that gives you joy!

I am pleased to share this article featuring Wascha Studios and the reuse of building materials!
